Blog update thing and Emu Wars

It's been quite a while since the last update, but I've been busy on a few things and have also started a new project for a small press publication called 'Massacre for the Boys'  More details on that later.

Paragon #13 is now on sale, featuring a cover and a 2 page Spencer Nero strip. You can buy a copy here

The Stockport Comic Collective blog, which I also run has had two more themes.

March - Captain America.

April - Sláine
One of my favourite comic characters, so I went a bit mad!

Walking Wounded - Emu Wars

Whilst the Killing Moon project is on hold, I've volunteered to illustrate a 6 page full colour strip 'Walking Wounded - Emu Wars' for  'Massacre for the Boys'  It's based on an actual event in 1932 where the Australian government declared war on the indigenous Emu population.

So for the forseeable future, I will be drawing Emus... lots and lots of Emus!!

Buck Tucker, Pigdog Press and a bit of Marshal Law

Now that Vanguard #3 is at the printers I thought I'd show you good people another taster image of Buck Tucker. If you want to buy a copy you will be able to purchase it via Comicsy.

I've also just finished designing two characters for Pigdog Press's (which is me by the way) first publication Killing Moon. The script is imminent so it should keep me busy for the next few months.

Also I had some great feedback from people on Facebook for a Marshal Law image in did the a local blog I run called the Stockport Comic Collective. There is also some great work by the other participants.

Ohhh it's 'all Paragon this' and 'Paragon that!'

Wow my 50th post! Time flies when you're talking shite!!

Over the last few months I've been working on a two page story for Paragon Comic for one of their characters called Spencer Nero. Here's one of the panels all lettered up. Thanks to Nikki Foxrobot for taking up the lettering duties.

I was asked, well I offered to do a cover for Davey and he gave me something to really get my teeth into. I had this fantastic half splash to work from which has been drawn by the very talented James Corcoran.

So after giving Davey three or four ideas, he went for this!

Merry Christmas from Bhuna and other updates

Bloody hell, it's been ages since I updated my blog. I've been busy illustrating a 2 page Spencer Nero story for Paragon Comics which will be out next year. Make sure you buy a copy. Here's a taster of what's to come.

The Ruthless Rhymer and one of his victims

Probably to most normal scene I've ever drawn

Now that's been sent for lettering it's freed me up to enter the yearly 2000ad forum advent calender. Have a look here and see what a bunch of talented bastards they all are. It's not 2000ad related, but what the hell.

From left to right: Dirk Van Dom, Cruz, Tucker and yours truly

And here's a picture of Nightcrawler for this months Stockport Comic Collective blog which will be updated at the end of the month.

Now that my 'drawing board' is clear, I'll be working on 'Killing Moon' for Pigdog Press. (which is me by the way but it sounds good!) I'm just waiting for the script for issue one to be finished. I'll be posting up the concepts and taster pics at the in a months or so.

Well it's been a while since I updated my blog. So here's what I've been up to.

These have been for the Stockport Comic Collective blog which I participate in.

I've also been asked to illustrate a two page Spencer Nero page story for Paragon Comics. So here's a few concept sketches I've done for this tale.

Swamp Thing, Tucker and exciting news

Here's this months entry to the Stockport Comic Collective blog. The theme for this months was errrmm... Swamp Thing

I've also ran up a logo from Buck Tucker Enemy of Love which will be featured in Vanguard #3 coming soon!

Now the exciting news - but I don't want to give too much away.
Myself and Matt Soffe has been given the OK to ink (me) and colour (Matt) some pencils by an absolute UK comic book legend! Therefore I have called this little project 'Operation Gods Work'
